Tampere xRT uses city data, point cloud scans, visual positioning and extended reality so that artists can display digital artwork in urban space. The work is reached through web, mobile AR and XR applications.
The concept won first place at the XR + 5G mmW Hackathon in Tampere, organised by Ultrahack with Elisa, Nokia, Qualcomm, CGI and the City of Tampere, from 30 September to 2 October 2022.
